AMERICA

Whats up everybody.... How are you all doing.... My question mark doesn't work... Or my commas.... asi que... this email is garbage.
But this week was decent. Sonia and Oscar got married yesterday and Sonia got baptized!!! But I was not there cause I had changes last week... I just forgot to tell you guys. I'm in the Ward Justo Rufino in Zona 21. It's super cool I guess. I would have rather just stayed in Economica. We are re-opening the area so it's not that fun.... As you can all tell I'm not super excited to end my mission like this, but it's whatever. We got here on Tuesday and we left with some cool teenager named Oscar. His Dad just got released from being Bishop. He's 19 and getting ready to go on his mission and he's super cool. He took us to a bunch of members houses and to some investigators houses. This whole week has been pretty much getting to know everyone and everything so it's been a little bit rough. I do like the area so far though.
I love you guys! I know that the Church is true and that it was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that God is our Heavenly Father and that he loves us and wants us to be happy. That Jesus Christ is our Savior and that he came to this earth and died for us so that we can repent of our sins and return to live in the presence of our Heavenly Father. I love you all. I'll write a better email next week.

I got 99 problems and my kicks are one...

Hey what's up mucha? How is life back there in the good old 801? Or 435 whatever your swag is...
This week was super decent. We had a good Monday. We had to go to the Renap like the public people services to get some birth certificates. Our fecha couldn't get baptized. She'll get baptized this week. On Tuesday we had a decent week.  On Tuesday we had a meeting with President Stay to say goodbye... way early right? It was cool. They gave us some stuff and taught us all that they had taught us in all of the meetings for the last two years. It was super baggy. It was with four zones so we got to see some of the friends.
Wednesday we just worked. Also we were walking in the street and a drunk came up to us and just said... Russia. Let`s go Russia. We're going to win the World Cup. We just agreed. So like an hour later we were walking in a different part of our area and out of nowhere someone starts yelling, "Russia, Russia, let's go Russia." The drunk was sitting on a rock waving at us. Out of all the places it was the first time anyone has ever accused me of being from Russia. Super good time. We also put a date for baptism with our boy Vicente Sucuqui. He also gave us duck for lunch.
Thursday was a normal day. I did divisions with Elder Soriano in Carolingia. We taught some lessons. We had some classic talks about Monjas.
Friday  we just worked all day.
Saturday we worked all morning, but my companion was sick so in the afternoon we stayed in the house. I cleaned the guy up. Lots of brooms and disinfectant, but I did it.  Sunday was awesome. We had nine investigators come to Church. We both gave talks also. I was so scared. I got up and took off my glasses and said, it`s not that you guys are ugly. You just scare me.  It was a solid day. We also taught some solid lessons in the afternoon and got destroyed by rain.
This week was awesome! The Church is true! I love you all.

Men shouldn't roam in garbage

This week was lame. I was sick for the first few days. So Friday was the first day we worked. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we killed it though. We put a fecha with Sonia for this upcoming weekend so we'll see how that works out. We also had Zone Counsel and we learned some stuff. I hated being in our house all day. I feel the pain of my fellow Bro Joshua Chad Beckstrom who suffered the same thing this last week. I just wanted to go teach and help people all week and I couldn't. But this week shall be great. I love you all. I love the Gospel. I know that the Church is true and that Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God. I love you all!!!!!

With much love... From the rainy city of Guatemala,...

Sompopos de Mayo

Guys this week was decent. We did some chill stuff. I didn't write it all down so I don't remember too much.
Monday we had a Noche de Hogar with the Diaz Family and the Santos Family our investigators that disappeared for weeks, but went to visit the family of the Hermana cause her brother got murdered. But they are back!!!
Tuesday we had everything fall through. We also taught Familia Caal in the house of the Boror Family. They are sweet and super ready for the marriage slash baptism on the 22nd.
Wednesday we taught our convert Maria Jose about the Temple so that she can go do baptisms! We also taught some other people.
Thursday I went to Carolingia to do some interviews. While there I got given sompopos de mayo. I actually had to find them and a sister that make them dinner made them for me. They are bugs that fall from the sky during may, but really during June now a days. I'll send some pics.
Friday we taught the Santos in the Diaz house again. It was a solid lesson.
Saturday we got destroyed by rain cause we forgot our umbrellas. We also had some lessons.
Sunday we left with Carlos and Vicky again. Greatest members ever. We taught some solid lessons with member. Also in our last lesson the family was super great. I love you guys.
The Church is true.

Sompopos

Um....Yum.

Cooked Sompopos

Hey guys! This week was pretty good.
Monday was p-day.
Tuesday was chill. We just taught a sweet lesson with the Sucuqui Family.
Wednesday we taught Maria Jose and the Aguilar Family we went with our boy Carlos and with Vicky. It was a pretty solid lesson with Maria Jose.
Thursday we left with a kid named Bryan for the whole afternoon.  We also taught our boys Familia Caal in the house of the Diaz Famly.
Friday we just taught Maria and she told us that her husband doesn't want her and her daughter to go to Church anymore so we set a time to go surprise talk to him so he actually learns something about the Church.
Saturday we filled up the baptismal font.
Sunday we had the baptism of Maria Jose. It was super sweet. We also left with Carlos and Vicky again. And we put a baptismal date with Hermana FLORY!!!! I love you all.

I hate rainy season

Week 2

This week was decent I suppose. Monday was just P Day. At night our appointments all fell and we just contacted for a few hours.
Tuesday we did divisions so that I could interview someone in Carolingia and I finally burned my pants for 18 months. It was a little bit later, but better late than never right.
Wednesday we taught the reference we got at Church last week. Her name is Maria José and she is super pilas. She is also 13 even though I thought she was like 18 cause she's literally like 5'10. But we put a baptismal date with her for the 1st of June! This Sunday so well see! While we were teaching her her roof opened and the rain started pouring in. So we helped them fix it and clean it all up. The house almost flooded. We also taught Hermana Maria in the Chinchilla families house. So it was awesome. A lady also told us that she couldn't talk to us cause her Pastor told her that Mormon Missionaries steal kids and take them back to the states to raise them. Where the logic would be being me, a 21 year old with no job and only high school education wanting to take a kid that doesn't know a lick of English to Utah to raise him by myself so he would be lost out of his mind and I would have to take care of him while I studied, worked, and found a wife, came from I have no idea. I thought it was way funny and pretty much just laughed.
Thursday we taught Maria and Ilsi with Hermano ¡Julio. They had tons of questions! But it was a solid lesson.
Friday we  had zone conference and at night we only taught one family about the Book of Mormon.
Saturday we got Maria José and Ilsi to go to mutual and according to their leaders they loved it and the made tons of friends. So that's looking positive. We also went with the young women's president and our boy Carlos' to teach Maria José. It was a solid lesson. On Sunday we had those two come to Church and also Hermano Julio's wife Fory and a few others. It was a good day. We also did divisions in the night to teach. It was a solid week. please fix the grammar I can't see the bottom half of the page right now.

I love you guys. Love, Elder White
