Mexico City East Mission

Guys this week was good.  Last Monday was average we just ate and played soccer. At night we taught the Ramos Family in the house of a member and it was awesome. Even though they didn't go to Church so they can't get baptized this week! :(  When we were playing soccer it started pouring rain and it was super fun.
Tuesday we did divisions with Guajitos and I went there. It was pretty good.
Wednesday we left with Dorian and also had a sweet family night with some converts and some investigators. It was awesome.
Thursday we left with the same family. They were dirty. We had some sick visits.
Friday we just taught lessons.
Saturday we had a bad day, but we did have one sweet lesson.
Sunday was good. We had some people come to Church.  It's hard to find new people who will actually keep their commitments right now. But it's alright.  A kid in our ward also got his mission call yesterday to Mexico. He always leaves with us so that's cool. I love you all and I know that the Church is true. I know that Heavenly Father gives us trials so that we grow and become the people that we need to so that we can return to his presence some day. I know that the Church that Jesus Christ established is on the earth today and that I represent it everyday. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God called to restore the Church.  I know that God speaks to us today through his Prophet Thomas S. Monson.  I also know that families can be forever. I love you all. Do it big up there in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Poor Las Vegas

This week was super dope... Well it was decent.
On Monday we killed it with some solid soccer. I missed playing soccer on p-days. It reminds me of the good old days. We also had an awesome family night with some investigators in the house of their neighbors.
Tuesday we did divisions and I went with my boy Elder Evans in his area. It was pretty fun. We had some solid times and worked pretty hard. I miss having a young comp.
Wednesday we left with Dorian and had a bunch of sweet lessons.
Thursday  Nothing
Friday we had a lesson with the Bishop and the old Bishop in his house with his father in law and the guy does not want to get Baptized. He keeps pushing his date back. Now he says September so.... it's whatever. We also had  a lesson with a pretty pilas girl, but she says that she can't get Baptized cause, she doesn't want to repent.  I don't know what's up.
Saturday we taught this super old family that we got as references. They are 88 and 78, but still going half way strong. The lady can't hear and the man can't see so they are perfect for each other.
Sunday we taught some good lessons and we left with these four teenagers that love leaving for some reason. They are all pretty sweet. We found a dirty new family that was in the states for awhile. We also had a good lesson with our fechas. Hopefully they can just go to Church once more and get Baptized.  The truth is I need to make better notes before I write. Next week I promise I will. All I remember is we taught like 25 lessons with member this week so that was good. But I love you all. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings us happiness and that as we live it we can see miracles in our lives. I put this title just for you Walton cause you get it.

Love you all.

Sometimes good things happen to good people

What's up bros.... and everyone else who reads this email. How have you all been?  I'm using the same computer as last week so sorry for the grammatical errors.  I promise I'm still good at stuff like that.  I know my emails have been lame lately , but it's my weakness. Remind like it says in Ether God gives men weaknesses so that they may be humble... so lay off..... haha This week was good.
On Monday we played soccer with the zone and it was my first soccer game in like a year. Since I left Montserrat.. and I've still got it.  I never really had too much, but what I had I still have. We also taught Erick and Carmen to get them ready for their Baptism.
Tuesday we left with a kid named Dorian. He's 19 and super cool. We taught some solid lessons and all that jazz. We also had these two 13 year olds go with us to an appointment cause, there was no one else.  It was solid though. They killed it. hashtag #futuremissionaries
On Wednesday we did divisiones and I went to Guajitos with my boy Elder Prestwhich. We go way back to the days of Milagro..... Well anyways we worked super hard and had a great day. I love being with young guys. It is the best way to go.
Thursday We taught Carmen and Erick about fasting. It was Erick's Birthday and they weren't doing anything cause, they have no money. The member that was with us left and bought them a cake after the lesson.  It was pretty solid. hes a sweet kid.
Friday was the Fourth of July.  I jammed MOTAB'S America album all day and night. We also taught this teenager that has been going to Guajitos but live in our area. We convinced her to go to mutual and Church in our ward since she lives in it.  And she's a new investigator.  I also finished reading the Book of Mormon again and had the chance to pray and ask God if it is true.  I know that it is and I love it.
Saturday we had the Baptism of Erick and Carmen!!!! It was awesome!!!! We also left with our boy Emma.  He's a 16 year old that always leaves with us.
Sunday we had a solid day of visits. We got some sweet members to leave with us. This is my first area where the youth like working.  It's awesome.  I love you guys!!!

AMERICA

Whats up everybody.... How are you all doing.... My question mark doesn't work... Or my commas.... asi que... this email is garbage.
But this week was decent. Sonia and Oscar got married yesterday and Sonia got baptized!!! But I was not there cause I had changes last week... I just forgot to tell you guys. I'm in the Ward Justo Rufino in Zona 21. It's super cool I guess. I would have rather just stayed in Economica. We are re-opening the area so it's not that fun.... As you can all tell I'm not super excited to end my mission like this, but it's whatever. We got here on Tuesday and we left with some cool teenager named Oscar. His Dad just got released from being Bishop. He's 19 and getting ready to go on his mission and he's super cool. He took us to a bunch of members houses and to some investigators houses. This whole week has been pretty much getting to know everyone and everything so it's been a little bit rough. I do like the area so far though.
I love you guys! I know that the Church is true and that it was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that God is our Heavenly Father and that he loves us and wants us to be happy. That Jesus Christ is our Savior and that he came to this earth and died for us so that we can repent of our sins and return to live in the presence of our Heavenly Father. I love you all. I'll write a better email next week.

Elder White with President & Sister Stay

I got 99 problems and my kicks are one...

Hey what's up mucha? How is life back there in the good old 801? Or 435 whatever your swag is...
This week was super decent. We had a good Monday. We had to go to the Renap like the public people services to get some birth certificates. Our fecha couldn't get baptized. She'll get baptized this week. On Tuesday we had a decent week.  On Tuesday we had a meeting with President Stay to say goodbye... way early right? It was cool. They gave us some stuff and taught us all that they had taught us in all of the meetings for the last two years. It was super baggy. It was with four zones so we got to see some of the friends.
Wednesday we just worked. Also we were walking in the street and a drunk came up to us and just said... Russia. Let`s go Russia. We're going to win the World Cup. We just agreed. So like an hour later we were walking in a different part of our area and out of nowhere someone starts yelling, "Russia, Russia, let's go Russia." The drunk was sitting on a rock waving at us. Out of all the places it was the first time anyone has ever accused me of being from Russia. Super good time. We also put a date for baptism with our boy Vicente Sucuqui. He also gave us duck for lunch.
Thursday was a normal day. I did divisions with Elder Soriano in Carolingia. We taught some lessons. We had some classic talks about Monjas.
Friday  we just worked all day.
Saturday we worked all morning, but my companion was sick so in the afternoon we stayed in the house. I cleaned the guy up. Lots of brooms and disinfectant, but I did it.  Sunday was awesome. We had nine investigators come to Church. We both gave talks also. I was so scared. I got up and took off my glasses and said, it`s not that you guys are ugly. You just scare me.  It was a solid day. We also taught some solid lessons in the afternoon and got destroyed by rain.
This week was awesome! The Church is true! I love you all.

Men shouldn't roam in garbage

This week was lame. I was sick for the first few days. So Friday was the first day we worked. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we killed it though. We put a fecha with Sonia for this upcoming weekend so we'll see how that works out. We also had Zone Counsel and we learned some stuff. I hated being in our house all day. I feel the pain of my fellow Bro Joshua Chad Beckstrom who suffered the same thing this last week. I just wanted to go teach and help people all week and I couldn't. But this week shall be great. I love you all. I love the Gospel. I know that the Church is true and that Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God. I love you all!!!!!

With much love... From the rainy city of Guatemala,...

Sompopos de Mayo

Guys this week was decent. We did some chill stuff. I didn't write it all down so I don't remember too much.
Monday we had a Noche de Hogar with the Diaz Family and the Santos Family our investigators that disappeared for weeks, but went to visit the family of the Hermana cause her brother got murdered. But they are back!!!
Tuesday we had everything fall through. We also taught Familia Caal in the house of the Boror Family. They are sweet and super ready for the marriage slash baptism on the 22nd.
Wednesday we taught our convert Maria Jose about the Temple so that she can go do baptisms! We also taught some other people.
Thursday I went to Carolingia to do some interviews. While there I got given sompopos de mayo. I actually had to find them and a sister that make them dinner made them for me. They are bugs that fall from the sky during may, but really during June now a days. I'll send some pics.
Friday we taught the Santos in the Diaz house again. It was a solid lesson.
Saturday we got destroyed by rain cause we forgot our umbrellas. We also had some lessons.
Sunday we left with Carlos and Vicky again. Greatest members ever. We taught some solid lessons with member. Also in our last lesson the family was super great. I love you guys.
The Church is true.

Elder Nicholas White
